1948 is an official scenario based on the 1948 United States Presidential Election.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Republican Dewey and Democratic incumbent President Truman are playable. Although Dewey begins the race with the lead, Truman is winnable through negotiations over the Taft-Hartley Act, although he risks losing the Deep South to Thurmond, a Dixiecrat who is not playable. Both sides of the scenario are considered fairly easy.[2]
