1964N is a mod created by theanswerisme#0218, & u/ARC-7652 imagining a scenario in which Richard Nixon won against John Kennedy in the 1960 Presidential Election. President Nixon has remained a fairly-popular President, but the issue of Civil Rights has divided the political, and social landscape. Also on the horizon is the emerging "Indochina War". The Democrats nominated Senate Majority Leader, and John Kennedy's running mate in 1960, Lyndon B. Johnson. The Democratic Party adopted a plank of pro-civil rights at the convention causing further chaos within their party, triggering a walkout of Southern Delegates, and the nomination of George Wallace for the Presidency, and John Bell Williams for the VP position.

The mod originally released with only the Nixon side playable, on Sep. 23 2022. The mod featured his canonical running mate, Vice President Lodge, and the alternative running mate, Barry Goldwater. The LBJ side was released on Jan. 3rd 2023, featuring his canonical running mate, Edmund Muskie, and the alternative running mate, Scoop Jackson.
