Astro, also known as ItsAstronomical is a New Campaign Trail developer, and a coder and writer. He has created several acclaimed modifications, all of which are for historical elections. Of his mods, 1872 is widely considered the most well-received.

Astro is also widely regarded as the community's most dedicated streamer, frequently livestreaming playthroughs of scenarios on his Twitch Channel.

In the 2023 Dan Bryan Awards, Astro received the Michael Dukakis Award for the Community Member With Most Contribution and the Dan Bryan Award for Modder of the Year.
