DPRK 2019 (or North Korea 2019) is a mod created by Decstar and it revolves around the 2019 Korean Democratic People's Republic's Legislative Election.[1] Your only available nominee is Kim Jong Un of the Fatherland Front. DPRK 2019 is one of the few mods that uses CYOA, along with 1972 and it's later successor 2000N.

Gameplay and CYOA[edit | edit source]

All Endings (Spoilers)[edit | edit source]

Normal Ending[edit | edit source]

Simply accept the new nominees for the Council of Deputes. The ending screen will congratulate you on your "struggle" for victory and wish you a fruitful next term.

New Kim Ending[edit | edit source]

Continue refusing to accept the New Nominees until eventually getting expelled by the Fatherland Front and being replaced by Kim Yo Jong, and then accept the new nominees. The ending screen will note that while Kim Jong-Un's early departure was unexpected, you still can salvage the situation as the country's first female leader.

Return of the King Ending[edit | edit source]

Continue to refuse the lists both as Kim Jong Un and Kim Yo Jong. Eventually Kim Il-Sung will get tired of your tomfoolery and oust you, before accepting the New Nominees and winning the election in a landslide.

Opposition Victory Ending[edit | edit source]

If the opposition were to somehow win seats, but not all seats, you get this ending. This is not known to currently be possible to achieve in any form, and can only be found by viewing the game's code.

'Failure' Ending[edit | edit source]

Somehow lose all seats in the election. The ending screen will note that the document glitched and showed you Independents winning the election, and the issue will be fixed as soon as possible.
