How to Edit on the Wiki
These are the official editing guidelines of The Wiki Trail, a thorough step-by-step guide as to how pages should be formatted and displayed on the wiki. This will help you understand the nooks and crannies of the The Wiki Trail.
Writing[edit | edit source]
Most of the pages on the wiki must at least have 2-3 sentences to be considered presentable on the wiki.
The writing style of the page should depend on the piece of content being displayed.
Page structure[edit | edit source]

Infobox[edit | edit source]
The infobox contains a summary of the browser/website/operating system/software. Elections use the {{Template:ElectionsXML}}, Achievements use the {{Template:AchievementXML}} and Guides uses the {{Template:GuideXML}}.
Introduction[edit | edit source]
The opening sentence should contain a brief description of the depicted election or achievement.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
The synopsis section should have a detailed synopsis of the depicted election or achievement.
Guides[edit | edit source]
Guides to applicable sides and/or achievements would be linked here.
Further Information[edit | edit source]
The further information section should display links to lore materials or a Wikipedia page, if possible.

At the bottom of each page should be a navbox that connects all of the pages of one category related to the category.
Infobox Details[edit | edit source]
An article's page must display the name, candidates, release date (optionally), and modmaker.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
If there is notable trivia about the depicted, it can go here.
Redirects[edit | edit source]
If there is another popular name for a mod, then a redirect can be made.
